Naples' right-wing agent, Elseid Hysaj, warned Chelsea that their alleged target would consider signing a new contract with his current employer, unless he completes his transfer. out of Naples this month.

Hysaj was fervently associated with Chelsea as Blues boss Maurizio Sarri seeks to reunite his former Napoli leader, but representing Mario Giuffredi told Rai Sport (Italy) that time was running out:

"The important thing is to hear that [Napoli manager Carlo] Ancelotti respects Hysaj.

"He confirmed his confidence in him, of course the January transfer window still needs to be evaluated and there was talk of Chelsea, for example.

"If there are mutually beneficial situations, we will evaluate them. If nothing happens in January, we will discuss an extension of contract. "

The Albanian defender signed a contract with the Stadio San Paolo that should not run out until June 2021, but Ancelotti's selection policy at the return in the first half of the season indicated that Hysaj could be considered as consumable.

Sarri seemed pleased with Cesar Azpilicueta after the return of the Spaniard to the right back at Stamford Bridge, although American football writer David Amoyal recently gave Hysaj hope to sign :

Similarly, the space could free the defensive line of Chelsea, after Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia (h / t Football Italy) reported that David Zappacosta had concluded a transfer agreement with Lazio, but that the Blues seem to delay the deal.

Kevin Malcuit and central defender Nikola Maksimovic shared the same quarter under Ancelotti this season, while Hysaj was left on the bench in the 1-0 defeat at Inter, when the winger Jose Callejon was tried in defense.

Alex McGovern of Bleacher Report explored the shared history of Hysaj and Napoli's former chief, Sarri, who took away the defender of the former Empoli club in 2015, the same summer he had moved to Naples:

But one wonders if Hysaj would be happy to join a team that already has such a talented personality as Azpilicueta, the favorite of Chelsea fans, although Sarri may intend to make a major change in West London.

Reece James, 19, another runner-up candidate in the academic field, impressed on loan Wigan Athletic and flourishes in his early years, counts by fan Football Talent Scout:

Giuffredi is clear in his feeling: Chelsea may miss Hysaj completely unless his talents move. However, these comments could be little more than scaring tactics on his part.

The question is why Hysaj would like to extend his stay after being an unused substitute in three of the club's last four games in Serie A, and it looks like the misplaced star wants to speed up the transfer negotiations.
