Sevilla, Andre Silva, would like to join AC Milan, but only if he plays regularly for the Rossoneri.

Silva signed for Milan in a A € 38 million contract in 2017, but after scoring 10 goals in his first season– only two of whom have played 24 Serie A matchesHe was on loan to Seville last summer for this campaign.

The attacker said Gazzetta dello Sport (h / t Football Italia):

"I want to do well first here, then wait, if it were all up to me, I would play for the best team in the world.

"If they tell me to choose between playing as a starter in Seville or returning to Milan without playing, my preference is obvious.

"However, I am in the middle of two situations: I'm fine and I'm a Milan player, I do not think about my future, otherwise I'm distracted."

Silva also said that he remained in contact with the Rossoneri and admitted that he was missing Italy.

"If Seville signs me, it's because they trust me and think I can do well, but it's still too early," he added. "I have not done anything yet.The present will ultimately have an impact on the future.I just want to play and be happy."

The Portuguese international has already surpassed last season's total of goals with 11 goals, including nine in La Liga.

David Cartlidge of ESPN believes that Seville would be well advised to make his stay in Spain permanent:

Silva probably thinks he has unfinished business in San Siro, but it may be difficult to come back and order a starting position.

Milan appealed to Krzysztof Piatek in January after Gonzalo Higuain reduced his loan from Juventus and went to Chelsea.

The Polish has scored 19 goals in 21 games for Genoa and maintains it since the beginning of his career:

Silva has so far been a solid acquisition for Sevilla. It is therefore likely that he will have the opportunity to stay beyond this campaign if he continues to play in the coming months.

A good season might encourage Milan to bring him back into the group, but unless they plan to use Piatek and Silva in the same system, he would probably play the supporting role after the newcomer.
