The 76ers think they have a chance to compete for a title.

The 76ers surprisingly acquired striker Tobias Harris of the Clippers before the trade deadline. He will combine with Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler and JJ Redick to form one of the best starting lineups in the NBA.

General Manager Elton Brand said this weekend that the 76ers have improved their lineup as they think their "championship window is now."

"Joel Embiid, seeing his growth. Ben Simmons, seeing its growth, "said Brand, via NBC Sports Philadelphia. "They improved quickly over the past season. The window is now. Our opportunity is now.

"So, once I saw this window, we discussed trying our luck now, because who knows how long this window will be open."

Harris averaged 18 points and seven rebounds in his first two games with the 76ers, both victories. Philadelphia dominated the Lakers 143-120 on Sunday.

The 76ers will enter Tuesday's game against the Celtics with a 36-20 record. They are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
